Finished in time

Can’t believe it. I realy can’t believe it! I was pretty sure, I’ll never live to see the presentations and speeches end in time. Or end earlyer!

Well, I did today. We had sales education upon launching a new product and it was all about surprises. First, education started at 10 AM. Hour later than ussual. There was 5 presenters, corporate hot-shots and VP’s. And each one of them finished earlyer than stated in the agenda. Breaks were very rich (hehe) and everything finished at 16:45, although agenda said it will last till 17h. I don’t know much people, actually not a single person that was had experience like that. Not with more speakers on agenda! And actually presenting interesting stuff with high value to the audience.
Either all those people read good presenting books (like Presentation Plus by David Peoples) or they’re talented. I don’t care, but this was great. One more thing: I believe that following the agenda – not just in terms of topics, but in terms of time schedule – should be the responsibility of the organiser of event. This person should take care everybody sticks to his/hers time frame. After all, we all like when somebody arrives on time. Why shouldn’t we like when they leave (or finish) in time? J

And I must say, I like France. Paris impressed me. Not so much in terms of touristic opportunities, as in business view. What I liked today also was lunch. They have this restaurant in the office building, but it has realy huuuge selection of meals, from simple pizzas (that are delicious) to more complicated meals that you’d usually find only in top class restaurants. Not to mention selection of vines (remember, it’s a office cafetteria!!!), cheeses etc. It soooo obvious that French realy find their meals very important. No burger-shit, just nice looking, well prepared food. I realy like that.

Bonjour from Charles De Gaulle Paris Airport!
